JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Operations Director, the role sits with in the existing sales and marketing function within the business. The role focuses on supporting the current business development and marketing activity
Helping to implement our sales strategy, there will be particular focus on complementing the overall sales process, working on proposals, developing cost schedules, researching opportunities, managing sales documentation and processes, updating CRM and supporting communication activity specific to those sectors that moves the business from reactive to proactive in meeting our clients’ needs.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Work Winning:
- Support the sales team with written bids, costing and supplementary information using WORD, EXCEL & our digital proposals platform.
- Compile manage and update bid libraries.
- Research background information for opportunities and bids
- Compile, manage and update opportunities via the Companies CRM platform.
- Liaise with external clients to ensure their needs are met in a timely and focused manner.
- Support the Operations Director and CEO on their work winning activities.
Research & CRM:
- Research and compile reports and feedback on opportunities, sectors, competitors, clients, and general market activity.
- Manage and update the Companies CRM platform, including contacts, opportunities, and pipeline activity.
- Utilise the CRM to implement mailing and communications campaigns, across, clients, sectors & markets.
Digital Channels:
- Manage and update the company’s website frequently, against a pre-agreed communications plan.
- Manage the Companies LinkedIn channel, uploading content, article’s and reports.
- Liaise with external agencies regarding branding, creation of collateral and any graphic design requirements.
CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION
We are seeking a self-starter who is an excellent communicator, capable of interacting confidently with colleagues & clients, with a desire to learn and develop themselves in a business development and sales role.
The individual must be flexible, adaptable, and always aiming to learn new skills whilst being able to operate with minimal supervision.
You will be a methodical thinker and be able to demonstrate relevant experience of meeting our objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Ideally:
We are seeking a confident individual who can demonstrate some experience in a similar role, and a willingness to learn.
You must have a strong command of written and oral English and have experience of compiling written documents that are articulate and well structured. You will also be proficient in the use of excel including basic commands and functions.
We use a number of software tools, and it would be helpful if you had previous experience or a working knowledge of them. Not having any experience of the tools listed will not preclude you.

Advantageous if you have:
- Previous involvement in a sales role
- Experience in a facilities management or technology business.
Remuneration:
Up to £28,000 per annum plus benefits inc bonus. 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holiday’s.
Location:
This is a semi flexible, and semi hybrid role, that is you will be expected to work your core 40 hours per week, but you can be flexible on start and end times dependent on the business requirements. You should also expect to travel to our Bristol office at least once a week.
