Asset surveys and life cycle planning was conducted across the City of London, covering 800 varied buildings. Properties included The Barbican, Guildhall, the Old Bailey and City of London Police.
Objectives
REAMS was appointed by facilities management provider MITIE PLC to provide asset and condition surveys across the City of London estate. Alongside this, REAMS was also tasked with implementing a bar coding regime and delivering a cost plan, identifying remedial works to bring the estate up to standard, and also future works covering the duration of the contract.
Achievements
A multi-million pound portfolio of project works was identified. Several thousand additional assets were identified, and similarly excluded from the comprehensive fund. Asset data, PPM regimes and labour allocation were loaded into the City of London's MAXIMO system, allocating work orders and reporting principles.
