The combined area of Honeywell's sites in Southend and Portsmouth, meticulously surveyed by REAMS.
Honeywell required an accurate and robust asset verification process to manage and update their extensive asset base effectively. The challenges included maintaining precision in asset management, ensuring efficient compliance, controlling maintenance and repairs, and optimising Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules. Accurate capital expenditure forecasting and operational risk mitigation were also crucial
REAMS utilised its refined methodology, blending technology with expertise. The approach included verifying, collating, assessing, and tagging M&E assets, creating comprehensive asset registers, and implementing QR asset labelling. The project also involved dynamic photographic reporting, structured condition and criticality coding, and integration with CBRE's ServiceInsight7 CAFM platform.
The project successfully delivered:
- Detailed asset registers for each facility, covering mechanical, electrical, and public health assets.
- Enhanced asset data accuracy and condition ratings.
- Efficient integration into Honeywell’s systems for effective maintenance and strategic planning.
- Empowered decision-making through enriched data analytics.
- A transformed approach to asset management, aligning with Honeywell’s operational and strategic needs.
Using the ELIAS solution, REAMS not only improved the management and accuracy of Honeywell’s asset register but also established a foundation for ongoing growth and adaptability in asset management.
